Auto Theft Task Force Recovers Stolen Vehicle and Arrests Suspect in Tulare
VISALIA, CA – “TRATT Detectives Recover Stolen Truck, Arrest Suspect in Tulare
At approximately 3:35 p.m., detectives with the Tulare Regional Auto Theft Task Force (TRATT) located an occupied stolen 2006 Toyota Tacoma at the Circle K on East Prosperity Avenue in the City of Tulare. Visalia Police Department patrol officers responded to assist with the investigation.
The driver, 38-year-old Jesus Mendoza, was taken into custody without incident.
Mendoza was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility on charges of unlawful taking or driving of a vehicle (Vehicle Code 10851) and possession of a stolen vehicle (Penal Code 496d). #visaliapd”
