Violation of Domestic Violence Restraining Order Suspect Jailed

“On the evening of July 23, the Central Division POP Team located and arrested 34-year-old David Jung for multiple violations of a domestic violence restraining order.

Deputies determined Jung had repeatedly violated the restraining order by showing up at the victim’s home, workplace, and their children’s school. Unfortunately, he fled before law enforcement arrived in these reported incidents.

Under current California law, many restraining order violations and related offenses, including those stemming from domestic violence, are classified as misdemeanors, even when they involve repeated conduct that causes ongoing fear for victims. Also due to these very same California laws, his booking photo is not eligible for release (based on his charges).”
