Stolen Vehicle Recovered by Clear Lake CHP: Suspect Arrested
CLEARLAKE, CA — July 12th 2026 — “Earlier today, officers from the Clearlake CHP Area located a reported stolen vehicle while on patrol. Officers attempted to conducted a traffic enforcement stop, the driver took officers on a brief pursuit and after the vehicle came to a stop, the driver fled on foot in an attempt to evade arrest.
Following a brief foot pursuit, officers safely took the suspect into custody without further incident.
The stolen vehicle was successfully recovered and will be returned to its rightful owner. This incident highlights the dedication of our officers to protecting our communities and holding those who commit crimes accountable.
