Four Arrested in Connection with Shooting of Teenager at Manteca 7-Eleven
MANTECA, CA — “Through a coordinated investigation, Manteca Police detectives have arrested four adult suspects in connection with the July 2 shooting of a teenage male at a 7-Eleven on W. Yosemite Avenue.
We understand our community expects timely information regarding incidents of this nature. In this case, the department intentionally did not release information immediately because investigators had identified known suspects, determined the incident was isolated, and were actively working to locate and arrest those responsible. Releasing details during that critical stage could have compromised the integrity of the investigation, jeopardized the collection of evidence, and hindered the safe and timely apprehension of the suspects. With all four suspects now in custody, the department is able to share this update with the community.
The teenage victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and is expected to recover. Out of respect for the victim and their family, no identifying information is being released.
Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Manteca Police Department and reference case 26-03052.
Thank you to our investigators and Street Crimes Unit for their dedication and commitment to bringing this case to a successful conclusion while protecting the integrity of the investigation.”
