Man with Attempted Murder Warrant Out of Santa Rosa Arrested in San Joaquin County
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA — An individual was arrested in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident, as well as several warrants out of another county including one for attempted murder, last week.
According to a press release by the California Highway Patrol, the Stockton Communications Center was notified by the Merced Communications Center of a possible incident of domestic violence being committed inside a vehicle that had entered San Joaquin County.
The vehicle was described as a gray 2025 Nissan Versa, according to authorities.
Authorities reportedly were able to make telephone contact with the victim and determine the vehicle’s location. CHP officers intercepted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Officers reportedly identified the driver as Scott Allen Mann and discovered he had multiple outstanding felony warrants, including one for alleged attempted murder out of Santa Rosa.
Local police in Santa Rosa contacted the California Highway Patrol to notify them that they had been searching for Mann and would respond to take custody of him, according to authorities.
In the meant mean time, the suspect has reportedly been booked into the San Joaquin County jail.
