Trash Can Dispute Leads to Stabbing

Stockton- A row between neighbors lead to two men being stabbed on the 3800 Block of Steve Lillie Circle late yesterday evening.

The two men were in front of their house around 10: 00 p.m. when they were confronted by their neighbor, 51 year-old Christopher Arellanes. According to Stockton Police, Arrelanes was upset that he was unable to place his trash can where he wanted, due to the fact that one of the men had parked his car in Arellanes designated area.

The argument escalated, in which point Arellanes pulled out a knife and stabbed both men.

Paramedics were called and both victims, were taken to  a local hospital. The victims are 51 and 17 years-old. They are now in stable condition.

Arrellanes was later arrested on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and drunk in public.
