California Highway Patrol Arrests Daly City Driver for Felony Evading Following High-Speed Pursuit on Highway 1

SANTA CRUZ, CA —  “Driver Arrested for Felony Evading During Holiday Enforcement Period ‼️

Over the weekend, one of our CHP – Santa Cruz officers observed a Dodge Charger traveling at over 100 mph on NB HWY 1 and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the car fled, and a pursuit ensued. The Charger initially evaded, but due to effective communication and coordination, CHP officers were able to bring the Charger to a stop on NB HWY 1 near State Park Drive, and the driver was apprehended by CHP personnel.

The driver, a 27-year-old from Daly City, was taken into custody for felony evading and reckless driving, and the Charger was towed.
