Police Confiscate Illegal Fireworks and Cite Driver During Fourth of July Enforcement Traffic Stop
ORANGE, CA – During a proactive enforcement operation targeting illegal fireworks, officers with the local police department conducted a traffic stop resulting in the seizure of prohibited items.
During the stop, officers observed illegal fireworks in plain view within the interior of the vehicle. The driver was subsequently issued a citation, and the illegal fireworks were confiscated by law enforcement.
The enforcement action is part of a stated zero-tolerance approach to illegal fireworks during the Fourth of July period, intended to enforce local fireworks ordinances throughout the city.
