Vehicle Code Stop Yields Three Arrests

Cumpian, Sullivan and Puckett

FULLERTON — A traffic stop on Saturday night for a vehicle code violation quickly turned into a trio of arrests.

The driver, 25-year-old Devin Puckett of Anaheim, was on parole and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

His passenger, 28-year-old Alyssa Sullivan of Phelan, was also on probation and in possession of meth.

The back seat passenger, 25-year-old Jovina Cumpian of Santa Ana, possessed prescription pills that did not rightfully belong to her.

The car contained over 30 syringes, over 90 fraudulent credit cards, credit card scanners, and a notebook with Social Security numbers and other credit information.  Police also discovered heroin, scales, packaging materials, and pipes.

The trio were arrested and charged with possession of narcotics for sale, transportation of narcotics for sale, credit card theft, and identity theft.
