Moreno Valley Resident Arrested for Felony Vandalism After Search Warrant Seizes Graffiti Evidence
RIVERSIDE, CA – On June 8, 2026, the Riverside Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team received a report regarding a vandalism incident that occurred approximately one week prior near Mission Inn Avenue and University Avenue. An unidentified male subject was reported to have spray-painted graffiti on several properties in the area.
POP officers initiated an investigation and identified a suspect using surveillance footage and reports submitted via the city’s 3-1-1 service. The investigation indicated that the suspect had vandalized multiple downtown properties over several weeks, causing more than $1,000 in damage to windows, walls, and street signs.
On June 18, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 11800 block of Rudbeckia Circle in Moreno Valley. During the search, law enforcement officers located and seized spray paint, graffiti paraphernalia, and sketchbooks containing graffiti designs.
Following the search, 40-year-old Jeffrey Alberto Figueroa of Moreno Valley was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of felony vandalism. He was subsequently released on a Notice to Appear citation.
