DUI Collision in Redding Leaves Multiple People with Serious Injuries; One Arrested

REDDING, CA — “On Friday, June 26th, 2026 at approximately 8:57 PM, a 1997 Honda Odyssey was traveling southbound on Lake Boulevard near Oasis at a high rate of speed. The Honda failed to stop at the red light at Oasis and proceeded south on Lake Boulevard. The Honda then collided into a 2016 Mitsubishi sedan pulling out of Dollar General onto Lake Boulevard. The impact between the two vehicles caused the Honda to veer onto the east sidewalk of Lake Boulevard and collide into a bus stop. The bus stop was occupied by two male subjects. The two male subjects were seriously injured as a result of the crash and transported to Mercy Hospital.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, 41-year-old Michael Wyckoff, and a female passenger were seriously injured and transported to Mercy Hospital and Shasta Regional Medical Center. Wyckoff and his passenger were both found to be under the influence of alcohol.

The driver of the Honda Odyssey was identified as 23-year-old Anthony Martin. Martin was found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Martin was treated at Mercy Hospital for injuries sustained during the crash before being booked at the Shasta County Jail for numerous felony charges.
