Physician Pleads Guilty to Sexual Battery Charges and Faces Permanent Medical License Revocation

RIVERSIDE, CA — On June 13, 2023, detectives with the Riverside Police Department initiated an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at the Timeless Skin Care Clinic, located at 6900 Brockton Avenue, Suite 200, in the City of Riverside. The suspect was identified as Samer Sannoufi, a physician practicing at the clinic.

As the investigation proceeded, detectives discovered that a similar report involving Sannoufi had been filed in May 2012 within the State of Arizona. Following a public press release by the Riverside Police Department regarding the case, multiple additional individuals contacted authorities to report instances of sexual assault or inappropriate behavior involving Sannoufi while he was functioning as their treating doctor.

Sannoufi was initially arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on multiple charges, after which he was released on bail. Following his release, further individuals came forward with reports, resulting in a subsequent re-arrest of the suspect.

On June 8, 2026, Sannoufi entered a guilty plea to three counts of sexual battery by fraudulent misrepresentation. Under the terms of his sentence, Sannoufi is mandated to register as a sex offender pursuant to 290 PC and will be subject to formal probation for a duration of 24 months. The sentence includes credit for jail time already served, a requirement to complete a specialized sex offender treatment program, an order to maintain no contact with any of the victims, and an obligation to pay victim restitution. Additionally, because the offenses were committed while Sannoufi was acting in the capacity of a treating physician, his medical license will be permanently revoked.

The Riverside Police Department maintains an open investigation. Detective Stanley Hua can be contacted with any additional information at (951) 353-7135 or via email at SHua@RiversideCA.gov.
