LIVERMORE — Guadalupe Robles-Romero, 47, of Livermore, is an habitual offender in
Alameda County with 41 arrests on his record.
His latest arrest on June 14 involves burglary and receiving another stolen vehicle. A 46-year-old man with him, Jorge Aguilar, of Fremont,
was also arrested.
Both suspects are implicated in a burglary in-progress that Livermore police interrupted. It
happened an hour before closing time at Extra Space Storage, 5888 Northfront Road.
Officers responded to the public warehouse at approximately 9 p.m.
Before the police arrived, Robles-Romero reportedly fled from the warehouse, by climbing
over a fence, running towards Interstate 580.
The second suspect, Aguilar was found inside a parked car on warehouse property. Aguilar
was detained and placed under arrest at 10:45 p.m.
Officers coordinated a search for Robles-Romero, deploying drones overhead and a K-9 unit
on the ground. “Romero was subsequently located and arrested at a nearby mobile home park,”
according to a prepared statement from Livermore police. He was arrested at 11:30 p.m.
Robles-Romero and Aguilar were booked into Alameda County Santa Rita Jail. Both suspects
were booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit crime.
In addition, Robles-Romero was also booked on an outstanding warrant for receiving a stolen
vehicle. He also allegedly disobeyed a domestic relations court order, pertaining to violent
conduct.
Robles-Romero remains in custody in lieu of $25,000 bond, and Aguilar remains behind bars
in lieu of $20,000 bond.
Robles-Romero is an habitual offender, with all his previous arrests in Alameda County. Most
of his prior arrests involved stolen cars, DUI alcohol/drugs, possession of controlled
substances, and firearms.
