Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Assistance in Upper Lake High School OHV Theft Investigation
UPPER LAKE, CA — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public to identify an individual connected to the theft of two side-by-side off-highway vehicles (OHVs) from Upper Lake High School.
According to authorities, the incident took place between the late evening hours of Friday, June 5, 2026, and the early morning hours of Saturday, June 6, 2026. During the investigation, deputies recovered surveillance imagery depicting the individual suspected of involvement in the theft. Additionally, law enforcement has identified a vehicle of interest, described as an older model Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon, which appears to be maroon or red in color.
The Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone who recognizes the individual in the surveillance images, or who possesses information regarding the described vehicle, contact law enforcement dispatch at (707) 263-2690.
