Wanted Parolee Arrested in Benicia, Had Allegedly Cut off Ankle Monitor
BENICIA, CA — “On Friday, 6/12/26, BPD responded to a request from the State Parole Board to help locate a parolee-at-large thought to be in Benicia.
The 37 year old male was not located at the address provided, so the ALPR system was utilized to locate the vehicle associated with the parolee. The man and another individual were located near East 3rd and East I St around 9pm.
The man’s ankle monitor, which had been cut off, was found inside his vehicle along with a glass drug pipe. Also found in the vehicle was an unregistered, loaded handgun that belonged to the other person at the location, a 25 year old male, who had a lifetime firearm ban as an owner or possessor.
Both men were taken into custody and booked into County Jail.”
