SOLANO – 28-year-old Don Edgar Johnson was “wanted on an outstanding felony arrest warrant” when a Solano County Sheriff’s deputy encountered him as he was driving in the city of Vallejo.

The suspect took off which lead to a vehicle chase. Then, after stopping the vehicle near Ivy Lane and Curtola Parkway, the suspect proceeded to continue fleeing on foot.

The deputy chased and eventually caught Johnson, who had a loaded firearm in his possession.

In the pursuit, the deputy lost his Axon body camera.  However, after Johnson was taken to jail, K-9 Tango and his deputy partner arrived. They went to work among the thick brush and shortly recovered the body cam.

Good boy Tango!
