Santa Rosa Police Arrest Four People for Alleged Distribution of Cocaine
SANTA ROSA, CA — “In April 2026, detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department’s Narcotics Team began an investigation into a group of individuals distributing cocaine in Santa Rosa and its surrounding areas. The involved individuals were identified as 27-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Alexander Lane-Carroll, 26-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Tyler Ditty, 29-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Keith Adams, and an unknown Hispanic male adult, later identified as 42-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Joshua Matias.
On 6/9/26, at approximately 1040 hours, officers from the Special Enforcement Team (SET) detained Ditty outside his apartment in the area of West Third St./tracks, Santa Rosa. The officers were familiar with Ditty and knew he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
At approximately 1245 hours, Officers from the Downtown Enforcement Team (DET) detained Matias, pursuant to a search warrant, outside the same apartment complex. At that time, detectives from the SRPD Narcotics Team, Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Team, and Gang Crimes Team, as well as officers from SET and DET executed the service of search warrants at four apartments in that complex, which included Ditty’s.
Detectives located a privately manufactured firearm that was equipped with a threaded barrel in Matias’ apartment. Detectives located approximately four and a half ounces of suspected cocaine, packaging materials, digital scales, and US currency in an apartment related to Ditty and Adams. Adams was not home at the time of this search warrant.
Detectives located approximately one ounce of suspected cocaine in an apartment related to Ditty and Lane-Carroll. Lane-Carroll was not home at the time of this search warrant. At a fourth related apartment, detectives detained three individuals in which two were in possession of suspected methamphetamine and associated paraphernalia. Those two individuals were identified as 46-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Kendra Smith, and 47-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Joshua Terry.
Ditty was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail for the following violations:
11351 H&S – Possession of a Narcotic for Sale.
Outstanding Warrant.
Matias was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail for the following violations:
30505 PC – Possession of an Assault Weapon.
29180 PC – Possession of an Unregistered Firearm/Ghost Gun.
Smith was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail for the following violations:
11377 H&S – Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Terry was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail for the following violations:
11377 H&S – Possession of a Controlled Substance.
1203.2 PC – Felony Violation of Pre-trial Terms.”
