Fairfield Man Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Flee from Officers During Probation Check
FAIRFIELD, CA — “On May 22, Fairfield Police Officers attempted to contact 28-year-old Jacob Fields, who was wanted for failing to check in with probation, at a residence on First Street. Officers coordinated with the Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC), and drones were deployed to assist.
As officers announced their presence over a loudspeaker, Fields fled through the back of the residence and jumped multiple fences in an attempt to escape. With assistance from the drone, officers located Fields hiding in a nearby backyard.
Once contacted, Fields complied with officers’ instructions and was peacefully taken into custody.”
