Fresno Man Arrested in Connection with Murders of Two Teenagers
FRESNO, CA — “On Monday, March 23, 2026, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Northeast District officers responded to the area of Fourth Street and San Jose Avenue after multiple reports of gunfire. Officers located three juvenile victims: a 15yearold male who was pronounced deceased on scene; a second 15yearold male who was transported to CRMC and later died; and a 14yearold male found near Bond Street and San Ramon Avenue, who was treated at CRMC and released. A fourth juvenile, 17 years-old, was also fired upon but was not injured. The investigation determined all four juveniles were walking together when the shooting occurred.
Homicide detectives identified 25-year-old Lelan Lee as the suspect responsible for the murders. On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Street Violence Bureau Tactical Team members arrested Lee for multiple charges including two counts of murder, and two counts of attempted murder. Lee was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
