Domestic Violence Incident in Ukiah: Female Suspect Arrested
UKIAH, CA — May 11th 2026 –– “On 05/09/2026 at approximately 11:00 P.M., Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Ruddick Cunningham Road in Ukiah regarding a reported domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted the 47-year-old male victim and reporting party, who was suffering from injuries to his face and neck. The victim declined medical treatment and reported that an argument had occurred between himself and his fiancé, Jackie Foord (38-year-old female from Ukiah, CA).
During the investigation, deputies learned Foord allegedly approached the victim and scratched his face and neck with her fingernails, causing visible injuries. Witness statements obtained at the scene corroborated the victim’s account of the incident. Deputies also located physical evidence on Foord’s person consistent with the reported altercation.
Based on the totality of the investigation, Sheriff’s Deputies developed probable cause to arrest Foord for 273.5(a) PC – Domestic Violence Causing a Traumatic Injury. Foord was subsequently transported and booked into the Mendocino County Jail. Foord was later released on a signed promise to appear after posting $50,000 bail.
