Culver City Stabbing Incident: Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder

CULVER CITY, CA —  “On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Culver City Police Department officers responded to a reported stabbing near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Slauson Avenue.

Preliminary investigation revealed that an adult male suspect approached a motorcyclist who was stopped at a red light and stabbed the victim during the encounter. The victim, an adult male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Officers quickly searched the area and located the suspect nearby, in the 11440 block of Jefferson Boulevard. The suspect, forty-five-year-old Maurice Williams, was arrested without further incident and booked at the Culver City Jail for attempted murder.
