CORTE MADERA, CA — Brian Jordan, 42, was identified as a suspect in a vehicle burglary, but
Jordan quickly became a suspect in a bigger investigation. Central Marin Police Authority
recovered evidence during a traffic stop implicating him in multiple crimes.

An escalating trail of evidence resulted in Jordan’s arrest on May 3 at 9:42 a.m. The suspect
has domestic ties to Marin County and San Francisco, according to CMPA. Jordan was
transported to Marin County Jail, where he remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bond,
pending arraignment.

Jordan was first identified as a suspect involving a vehicle break-in near Corte Madera Town
Park.

The victim provided police with a video recording of the crime including an image of the
suspect.

“Several pieces of property were stolen, including identity documents and credit cards,”
according to a prepared statement from CMPA. “The stolen cards were fraudulently used at
several stores in Marin County.”

CMPA pulled over Jordan in a traffic stop on Paradise Drive. A search yielded several grams
of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Mail belonging to Tiburon residents and burglary tools
were found in his possession too. CMPA also recovered property belonging to the victim of
the vehicle break-in at the Corte Madera park.

Jordan was booked on suspicion of the following –
· Grand theft
· Burglary
· Identity theft/fraudulent use of a credit card
· Possession of narcotics
· Possession of burglary tools
The case against Jordan includes video surveillance evidence allegedly showing him using
stolen credit cards to make purchases.
