Orange Resident Arrested After Using Stolen Credit Card to Pay Parking Fines

IRVINE, CA — Authorities arrested a 32-year-old Orange resident, Tarryn Harlee Repass, following an investigation into vehicle burglary and the fraudulent use of a stolen credit card. The incident began approximately two weeks ago when a credit card and other personal belongings were reported stolen from a vehicle at The Marketplace.

According to detectives, the stolen card was subsequently used for various fraudulent purchases. Among these transactions was a payment made to settle more than $400 in outstanding parking tickets. On the same evening as the reported theft, Repass was stopped by law enforcement for operating a vehicle with expired registration. During the traffic stop, she informed the officer that she had recently cleared her outstanding parking fines.

The investigation progressed after the victim discovered the theft and reported the missing card to the police. Detectives analyzed surveillance footage from the locations where the card was used, which allowed them to link the suspect to the transactions. Repass was taken into custody and faces charges of burglary, grand theft, and identity theft.

According to public records, Repass has been arrested on several occasions over the last few years for various offenses, including:

  • Identity Theft and Grand Theft.

  • Burglary and possession of stolen property.

  • Narcotics-related charges, specifically possession of controlled substances
