Three Arrested in Connection with Assault in North Fair Oaks
NORTH FAIR OAKS, CA — “Deputies with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office arrested three suspects involved in a fight at an establishment in North Fair Oaks early Sunday that injured five people. The incident appears to be isolated and no suspects are believed to be outstanding.
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, shortly before 2 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Mariscos El Sanignacense, located in the 2500 block of El Camino Real in North Fair Oaks, for a report of a stabbing in progress.
Upon arrival, deputies located three victims suffering from lacerations and puncture wounds. Two additional victims were later located at area hospitals. All five victims are believed to be in stable condition.
Witness statements and evidence collected at the scene indicate a fight occurred at the establishment and the three suspects attacked the five victims with glass shards and other objects.
Through video evidence and witness descriptions, deputies identified the suspects as 37-year-old Claudio FajardoGomez, 29-year-old Kevin LopezLima and 30-year-old Nixon PerezMorales.
Shortly after the incident, deputies located the three suspects within a few blocks of the scene.
As a result of the investigation, FajardoGomez, LopezLima and PerezMorales were arrested and subsequently booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for violation of Penal Code 245(a)(4) – Assault with force, likely to cause great bodily injury.
The swift response by deputies from multiple bureaus, combined with witnesses aiding in the investigation, resulted in a positive outcome to an otherwise dangerous incident.
