Santa Ana Police Seek Second Suspect in Armed Robbery at ARCO Gas Station on Dyer Road
SANTA ANA, CA — The Santa Ana Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at an ARCO gas station on April 9, 2026. The incident occurred at the 1727 East Dyer Road location.
According to investigators, two individuals entered the business and executed the robbery. The primary suspect approached an employee and simulated the possession of a firearm by pressing an object against her back while ordering the cash register to be opened. A second individual remained positioned as a lookout during the encounter. After obtaining the currency from the register, both individuals fled the premises on foot toward a nearby Motel 6.
Patrol officers initiated an investigation and reviewed surveillance footage that recorded the suspects before, during, and after the event. The primary suspect was located and arrested by officers the same night. However, the individual who acted as the lookout and the weapon involved in the incident have not yet been recovered.
