BRENTWOOD — Briscoe Treshan Tyee Allen, a 34-year-old resident of Brentwood, keeps in regular
contact with law enforcement. Allen was arrested twice on March 24, first for weapons and later for
illicit drug possession.
Allen was pulled over for a traffic stop on the 5900 block of Lone Tree Way, March 24 at 10:10 a.m.
He was driving with a suspended license. Brentwood officers searched his vehicle, where a loaded
firearm and an illegal assault weapon were found.
Officers placed Allen under arrest and he was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for the
following weapons charges –
· Carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle
· Carrying a loaded firearm
· Possession of a firearm with identifying markings
· Driving with a license suspended for DUI
Allen was processed at the jail for the morning weapons charges, only to be contacted again by
Brentwood police 12 hours later. At 10:09 p.m., Allen was arrested on the 5500 block of Lone Tree
Way for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and probation violation.
He was reprocessed at the Martinez Detention Facility, where he remains in custody on a probation
violation hold, pending a court appearance on April 7.
Allen has prior convictions on his record for DUI alcohol/drugs in Contra Costa County, and
possession of a controlled substance for sale in Los Angeles.
