LOS BANOS, CA — “On March 20th at approximatly10:21 p.m., Los Banos Officers responded to the area of Nevada Ave and W J St following reports of possible gunshots.
Ofc. Pacheco was in the area and quickly contacted a black Escalade occupied by 5 males, three being juveniles. All individuals were under the age of 21 and they were smoking marijuana. The occupants were detained during the investigation.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of an unregistered, loaded, black handgun concealed beneath a rear passenger seat. The firearm is believed to belong to one of the juveniles who was arrested on multiple firearm-related charges (25400(a)(1) PC, 29650PC, 29610 PC and 25850(c) and transported to Merced County Juvenile Detention Center.
The two 19-year-old males, Andrik Flores and Christopher Amador Perez, were also arrested for PC 272 – Contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Another juvenile was issued a citation for being in possession of marijuana and released to a parent at the scene.”
