The suspect, identified as 23 year old Jordan Barr of Big Pine, faces felony charges including attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

The incident began at approximately 6:42 p.m. when dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a stabbing near the intersection of Payahuupu Lane and Diaz Lane. Deputies were dispatched to the scene and also responded to Northern Inyo Hospital, where the victim had been transported for treatment.
