Sonora Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges After Traffic Stop
SONORA, CA — “On March 6, 2026, at 11:47 p.m., Officers with the Sonora Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle whose registration had expired in 2018. Officers contacted the driver, 35-year-old Andrew Labriola of Sonora, and the passenger, 43-year-old Brandy Martin of Tuolumne City.
Officers observed signs of drug possession and conducted an investigation. Officers suspected the driver was under the influence. A field sobriety test determined the driver was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Labriola was arrested and booked in the Tuolumne County Jail for Felony possession of a controlled substance, Felony control of a substance with 2 or more priors, and misdemeanor DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
Martin was also arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia”
