“Early Saturday morning, while patrolling the area of highway 108 near Twain Harte, Deputy Wend spotted a car with expired registration.

The car was stopped and the driver, 29-year-old Bruce Davis of Mi Wuk Village, was contacted. While speaking with Bruce, he admitted to being in possession of heroin and turned over a small amount of heroin to Deputy Wend.

When backup arrived, a more thorough search of Bruce and his vehicle was conducted. In all, Deputies located a credit/debit card swiping machine, several checks in various amounts from accounts belonging to other people, access cards belonging to other people, a notebook containing various people’s personal information, more than two ounces of methamphetamine, and drug sales related paraphernalia.

Bruce was arrested and booked into the County Jail for charges related to drug sales and forgery/identity theft.”
