“Just before 2:00 am, an officer spotted a 2004 Cadillac Escalade with expired tabs traveling on Barretta Street. The officer conducted the traffic stop and soon determined the driver, 24-year-old Collin King of Sonora was under the influence of alcohol. King was taken into custody for suspicion of being three times the legal limit to drive in California.

Further investigative actions by the officer revealed that the passenger, 27-year-old Forest Harris of Murphy’s, was in possession of approximately 12 grams of cocaine. Other evidence located by the officer strongly suggests that Harris was in possession of the cocaine with intent to sell it.

Harris was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with the intent to sell. Both subjects were booked at the Tuolumne County Jail for the respective charges.

Individuals identified herein were arrested on suspicion of the crimes for which they have been charged. All such charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
