Three Individuals Arrested Following Residential Burglary in Esparto
ESPARTO, CA – The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals following a burglary investigation in Esparto on Tuesday. According to official reports, a homeowner returned to his residence at approximately 4:30 a.m. to find the interior of the home ransacked. Upon arrival, the homeowner observed a tan Jeep departing the area and noted another individual still present on the scene inside a motorhome.
Responding deputies arrived and detained the individual in the motorhome, identified as 40-year-old Gilberto Trigales. During the contact, law enforcement located a loaded AK-47 inside the motorhome. Subsequent efforts to locate the tan Jeep were successful, leading to the detention of 37-year-old Yuri Delarosa and 28-year-old Roberto Woodford.
Following the detentions, deputies conducted searches of both the motorhome and the Jeep. These searches resulted in the recovery of property reported stolen from the victim’s residence. Consequently, all three suspects were arrested on charges of burglary and conspiracy. Trigales faces additional charges related to the firearm located at the scene.
The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office has issued a reminder to residents to report suspicious activity to authorities immediately and to utilize 911 in the event of a crime in progress. The investigation was updated to ensure the removal of a name previously mentioned that was determined to be unrelated to the case.
