Bishop CHP Arrests Suspect Following 9-1-1 Misuse; Firearms and Controlled Substances Seized
BISHOP, CA — FEBRUARY 5TH 2026
“On February 4,2026, the Bishop Communication Center received numerous misused 9-1-1 calls for a nonemergency related event.
The suspect was located later that day by Bishop CHP officers and placed in custody. Throughout the investigation, CHP officers located several loaded/ unloaded firearms and controlled substances.
The investigation is ongoing and no one was hurt/ injured throughout the process thanks to the swift action of CHP Officers.”
