Two Arrested Following Sutter Creek Traffic Stop for DUI and Resisting Officers
SUTTER CREEK, CA -“CAR STOP YIELDS MULTIPLE ARRESTS
At approximately 7 pm yesterday, SCPD conducted a traffic stop on a white Buick SUV for a traffic violation. The driver, a 61 year old male resident of Stockton, was determined to be unlicensed and operating under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
While the officer was preparing to tow the vehicle incident to arrest, the woman who had been seated in the front passenger seat got behind the wheel of the car, closed the door and would not exit the car.
She was eventually removed from the car and arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
SCPD is thankful to the assistance offered by Jackson PD.
We remain committed to keep Sutter Creek safe each and every day.
SCPD”
