Desert Hot Springs Police Seize Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Following Narcotics Investigation
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA
“On 01/07/26, Desert Hot Springs Police Officers conducted a follow-up investigation related to narcotics activity.
During the investigation, officers conducted a traffic stop and observed fentanyl in plain view inside the vehicle. The driver was detained, and a subsequent search resulted in the seizure of over half a pound of fentanyl, several ounces of methamphetamine, Xanax pills, and items indicative of drug sales.
As the investigation continued, officers obtained and served a search warrant at a residence in Desert Hot Springs, where additional narcotics were seized.
A 40-year-old male from Desert Hot Springs was booked into county jail on multiple felony drug charges and remains in custody.
