Motorist, Under 21, Arrested for Allegedly Driving Drunk
LOS ALTOS, CA — “On January 1, 2026, at approximately 1:39 AM, a Los Altos Police Officer conducted a traffic stop near Almond Avenue and Avalon Drive after observing a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign.
During the investigation, the officer observed signs of alcohol impairment. The driver admitted to consuming alcohol and submitted to field sobriety testing and alcohol screening.
The driver, who was under 21 years old, was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Santa Clara County Main Jail without incident.”
