Escondido Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Assault and Illegal Dumping Suspects

ESCONDIDO, CA — The Escondido Police Department has issued a request for public assistance in identifying two individuals involved in an incident reported on December 1, 2025. According to department records, the event occurred at 860 West Valley Parkway while a female victim was seated inside her vehicle.

Official reports indicate the victim observed a male and a female suspect engaged in the illegal dumping of furniture at the location. When the victim began filming the activity with a recording device, the male suspect approached her vehicle. The department states that the male suspect then engaged in a physical altercation with the victim, which included pulling her hair and striking her in the face multiple times. During the encounter, the male suspect reportedly lifted his garment to display a large, fixed-blade knife.

Following the physical confrontation, the suspects departed the scene in separate vehicles. The female suspect was observed operating a U-Haul box truck, while the male suspect was seen driving a vehicle described as a red GMC pickup truck.

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of these individuals to contact the Escondido Police Department Tip Line at 760-843-8477. The tip line is monitored 24 hours a day, and callers have the option to provide information anonymously.
