Juvenile Arrested Following Shooting at Visalia Residence
VISALIA, CA – JANUARY 5TH 2026 — “16-Year-Old Arrested Following Early Morning Shooting.
Just after 12:30 a.m., Visalia Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 5600 block of West Seeger Court. When officers arrived on scene, they found evidence indicating the suspect entered the backyard of the residence and fired shots through a rear bedroom window. Fortunately, no one inside the home was injured.
Further investigation led officers to identify the suspect as a 16-year-old male. During a search, officers located him around 2:00 a.m. as he was attempting to return home. He was taken into custody without incident.
A firearm believed to be connected to the shooting was also found in a nearby trash can.
