Pismo Beach Police Investigate Shooting Near Pedestrian Tunnel; Suspects Remain at Large
PRISMO BEACH, CA – The Pismo Beach Police Department has initiated an investigation following a report of a shooting that occurred on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Officers were dispatched to the vicinity of the pedestrian tunnel connecting the 800 block of Bello Street and Price Street at approximately 12:15 p.m. Upon arrival, emergency responders located a 14-year-old male who had sustained a minor injury to a finger.
Preliminary evidence gathered from area video surveillance indicates that the victim and the suspect or suspects appeared to be in each other’s company shortly before the encounter took place. Authorities noted that the juvenile victim was uncooperative with officers at the scene. As of the latest update, the suspects involved in the incident remain outstanding.
The Pismo Beach Police Department has characterized the shooting as an isolated event and stated that there is currently no evidence of an ongoing threat to the general public. Detectives are continuing to investigate the specific circumstances and events that led to the discharge of the weapon.
