FBI credits bank robbery to ‘Geezer Bandit’

Geezer Bandit Strikes SLO

FBI officials say the suspect for Friday’s daring bank robbery at the San Luis Obispo Bank of America on Higuera Street may be none other than California’s own Geezer Bandit.

This would be the Geezer’s sixteenth heist in the state. Most of the robberies which, according to the FBI, began in 2009, have occurred in San Diego County.

The Geezer Bandit is described as 60 to 70 years old and often wears a Navy-colored blazer, baseball cap and dark pants.
