Bishop Law Enforcement Executes Narcotics Search Warrant; One Arrested
BISHOP, CA — The Bishop Police Department and the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint narcotics operation on the morning of Tuesday, December 16, 2025. According to official reports, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a residential property within the Bishop city limits at approximately 7:15 AM.
The search was initiated as part of an investigation into the sale of illegal controlled substances. During the search of the premises, authorities discovered and seized several bags containing methamphetamine. In addition to the narcotics, officers located and recovered weighing scales and various materials used for the packaging and distribution of illegal drugs.
Following the discovery of the evidence, one individual was taken into custody at the scene. The individual was arrested on charges related to the sale of illegal narcotics and was subsequently transported to the Inyo County Jail for booking. Officials confirmed that the execution of the search warrant and the following arrest were completed without incident.
