Murrieta Police Investigate Stabbing, Victim Hospitalized in Stable Condition
MURRIETA, CA – “On December 15, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Murrieta Police Department’s Communications Center received a 911 call from a residence on Old Carriage Road, in the City of Murrieta. The caller reported that a male had come to his door for help and stated that he had been stabbed. The male had a visible wound to his shoulder.
The victim provided limited information regarding the incident but described the suspect as a Hispanic male between 20 and 30 years old who fled in an unknown direction.
Officers arrived on scene and promptly arranged for medical aid for the victim before initiating a coordinated search of the neighborhood for the suspect. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department helicopter assisted with the search, along with a Murrieta Police Department K-9. Despite these efforts, officers were unable to locate a suspect.Additional evidence was located on Whitewood Road and collected as part of the ongoing investigation.
The 44-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injury, where he remains in stable condition.
