San Diego Police Arrest Two Suspects in Series of Armed Robberies at Local Massage Businesses
SAN DIEGO, CA — “The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) has arrested two suspects in connection with a commercial armed robbery series that occurred at three separate massage businesses in San Diego.
The three robberies took place between November 29 and December 5, 2025. On each occasion the suspects entered a business and held up and demanded money from employees at gunpoint.
After obtaining cash from employees, the suspects would flee the business.
With help from SDPD’s Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system, Robbery Investigators, along with uniformed officers working with our Special Operations Unit, located and safely arrested a man and woman connected to this case and seized the firearm and vehicle used in these crimes.
The dates and locations of the incidents were as follows:
- November 29, 2025, at Young Spa located at 2509 El Cajon Blvd.
- December 3, 2025, at Sunny Spa located at 4865 Convoy St.
- December 5, 2025, at Harmony Spa located at 4456 Vandever Ave.
The suspects have been identified as 39-year-old Ian Forbes and 42-year-old Niki Lindemann. On December 6, 2025, both Forbes and Lindemann were located and arrested by detectives.
