Earlimart Woman Dies After Being Struck by Car During Domestic Dispute; Suspect in Custody
EARLIMART, CA — The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is investigating a fatal incident that occurred late Saturday, November 30, 2025, in Earlimart. Around 11:45 p.m., TCSO Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian near the intersection of State and Sutter Street.
Upon arrival, Deputies located a woman who had been hit by a car. She was transported to Delano Hospital to receive medical treatment. However, the woman subsequently died from the injuries sustained in the incident.
Through their preliminary investigation, Deputies determined that the incident was related to a domestic dispute.
Authorities detained the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Benjamin Rodriguez, at the scene. Rodriguez was taken into custody following the incident.
The TCSO investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased woman has not been released at this time.
