On November 11, 2025, at approximately 12:58 a.m., SFPD officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area. Upon arrival, officers observed a residence with damage consistent with a possible shooting. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

A preliminary investigation indicated that an unknown suspect had exited a vehicle, approached the residence with a firearm, and discharged the weapon. Investigators were also advised of two prior incidents on October 28 and October 29, 2025, which also prompted officer response following ShotSpotter activations. No injuries were reported in those previous events.

The ongoing investigation led to the identification of a possible suspect: Enhao Lin, a 39-year-old resident of Alameda, CA.

Members of the Crime Gun Investigator Center (CCIG) obtained a search warrant for Lin’s residence and began surveillance. CCIG officers, alongside the Violence Reduction Initiative (VRT) unit, subsequently observed and arrested Lin as he left the property without incident. A search of the residence was executed, resulting in the seizure of two firearms as evidence.

Lin was transported to San Francisco County Jail, where he was booked on multiple charges. These include two counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling ($246$ PC x2), two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm ($245(b)$ PC x2), and two counts of felon in possession of a firearm ($29800(a)(1)$ PC x2). Additional charges include possession of a controlled substance while armed ($11370.1(a)$ HS) and unlawful possession of a controlled substance ($11350(a)$ HS).

The case, documented under SFPD CASE# 250-635-237, remains an open and active investigation. The SFPD is requesting that anyone with information contact the department at 1-415-575-4444 or submit a Text-A-Tip to TIP411, beginning the message with “SFPD.”
