Suspect Apprehended After High-Speed Pursuit Terminated Near Davis
DAVIS, CA — “On 11/1/25, at approximately 0153 hours, a Deputy was in the area of WB I-80 near Richards Blvd near the City of Davis. A black Audi traveling at a high rate of speed caught his attention. The Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop for the reckless driving.
The vehicle initially indicated they were going to pull over, but then fled at a high rate of speed. The Deputy pursued the vehicle for a short period of time.
Due to the driver’s recklessness, the deputy terminated the pursuit due to public safety. A “be on the lookout” was sent to local law enforcement agencies. Rio Vista Officers (Solano County Sheriff’s Office) located the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. The driver was identified as Anthony Gonzalez out of Brentwood. Yolo Deputies met with Solano Sheriff Deputies and took custody of Gonzalez. Gonzalez was later transported, booked and housed at the Yolo County Jail.
