CHP Stops Driver Traveling Over 90 MPH, Using Shoulder to Pass on I-15

OCEANSIDE, CA — “CHP Oceanside Area Officers stopped a vehicle on northbound I-15, just north of SR-76, after it was observed traveling over 90 mph, weaving in and out of traffic, and using the shoulder to pass other motorists.

Remember:
Both speeding and driving on the right shoulder isn’t just illegal — it endangers everyone on the road.

• High speeds reduce reaction time
• Shoulder driving blocks emergency access

Let’s keep our roadways safe for all. Slow down, stay patient, and always drive responsibly.
