SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA  — Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Gangs/Narcotics Division, collaborating with deputies from patrol stations and personnel from partnering agencies, conducted a focused crime suppression effort across the county between October 27 and November 2, 2025. This initiative, titled Operation Consequences, involved serving a total of eight search warrants and contacting various suspects in multiple jurisdictions.

The warrants were executed at locations including the 10000 block of Seventh Avenue in Hesperia, the 1400 block of Eucalyptus Drive in Highland, the 100 block of East King Street in San Bernardino, and locations in Bloomington, Rialto, Montclair, Redlands, and Jurupa Valley. Additionally, the San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) Street Enforcement Team (SET) performed proactive patrols within the City of Yucaipa and adjacent areas.

Over the one-week operational period, investigators contacted individuals identified as gang members and persons prohibited from possessing firearms. The enforcement actions resulted in the seizure of 10 firearms. During the period of investigation, authorities recorded 10 felony arrests and one misdemeanor arrest.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors previously authorized funding for county-wide crime suppression efforts, which is intended to provide the Sheriff’s Department with increased resources to address quality-of-life concerns within the county’s communities.

Operation Consequences will continue over the next several months, concentrating targeted crime suppression in the High Desert and the Sheriff’s jurisdiction surrounding the City of San Bernardino. The operation involves a multi-agency partnership, including personnel from the She

riff’s Specialized Enforcement Division, the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino Police Department, San Bernardino County Probation, and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations. The stated goals of the operation are to curb violent crime, disrupt and dismantle targeted criminal street gangs, and locate and arrest criminals engaged in the illegal possession, manufacturing, and trafficking of firearms.
