Traffic Stops in Woodland Yield Three Illegal Ghost Guns and Three Arrests
WOODLAND, CA — November 4th 2025 — Woodland Police officers recovered three unregistered firearms and made three arrests following two separate traffic stops late last night.
The first incident occurred after a patrol officer stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. The driver, Marco CamposLeon, 28, a resident of Yolo County, was detained after an officer observed a handgun in the glove compartment. During the incident, officers located an unregistered loaded revolver and a loaded, unserialized polymer “ghost gun” equipped with a threaded barrel. CamposLeon was subsequently arrested and booked on charges associated with the recovered firearms.
While the first traffic stop was underway, a second officer initiated a separate stop on a pickup truck for a vehicle code violation. As officers approached, they noted two individuals lying in the back of the truck bed. One of the passengers, Miguel Naranjo, 20, a resident of Sacramento, was found to be in possession of a loaded, concealed, unserialized polymer ghost gun. Naranjo was arrested and booked on multiple firearm-related charges.
The driver of the pickup truck, Saul Solorio Jr., 21, of Knights Landing, was arrested and booked for driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI. His truck was impounded for 30 days.
