SAN BERNARDINO, CA – Authorities conducted multiple enforcement actions across San Bernardino County last week as part of an ongoing crime suppression effort, resulting in 11 total arrests, including one for human trafficking.

From October 20 through October 26, 2025, investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, along with patrol deputies and personnel from partnering agencies, executed five search warrants and contacted suspects throughout the county. Search warrants were served at multiple locations, including the 7800 block of Elm Street in Highland, the 1200 block of N Stoddard Avenue and the 7600 block of Bonnie Court in San Bernardino, the 13000 block of Kiowa Road in Apple Valley, and the 500 block of E. Redlands Boulevard in Redlands.

During the one-week operational period, investigators contacted seven individuals identified as gang members or prohibited from possessing firearms. Law enforcement personnel made ten felony arrests and one misdemeanor arrest. One of the felony arrests was for human trafficking.

Additionally, the San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) Street Enforcement Team (SET) conducted proactive patrols in Phelan, Redlands, and surrounding areas.

The enforcement actions fall under Operation Consequences, a county-wide crime suppression effort funded by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors to provide additional resources to the Sheriff’s Department. The operation is intended to address quality-of-life issues by focusing on targeted crime suppression in the High Desert and areas within the Sheriff’s jurisdiction surrounding the city of San Bernardino.

Operation Consequences is scheduled to take place over the next several months. Participating agencies include the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, patrol stations, California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino Police Department, San Bernardino County Probation, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations. The goal of the operation is to curb violent crime, disrupt and dismantle targeted criminal street gangs, and locate and apprehend individuals involved in the illegal possession, manufacturing, and trafficking of firearms.
